A passionate flamenco guitar frames the unmistakable voice of living legend Vicente Fernández on his latest single, the lovely romantic song “Cuando Manda El Corazón” (When the Heart Rules).

“Cuando Manda El Corazón” is taken from Los Dos Vicentes (The Two Vicentes), the most recent album by Vicente Fernández, which also features several songs by his oldest son, Vicente Fernández Abarca.

As the expressly commissioned theme song for the telenovela Amor Bravío, starring Silvia Navarro and Cristian de la Fuente, “Cuando Manda El Corazón” was written by Jorge Eduardo Murguía.

Vicente Fernández, who is retiring from live performing after concluding his current tour, makes this song a true love poem, and shows us once again why he remains the King of Rancheras, some 46+ years into his recording career.
