T-Mobile Center Welcomes the U.C.P. Tour Featuring Chris Brown and Bow Wow
Coming to Sprint Center on Jan. 11
Kansas City, Mo-(Dec. 3, 2007) Grammy-nominated R&B singer Chris Brown will perform along with fellow headliner rap sensation Bow Wow at T-Mobile Center on Jan. 11. Joining them on T-Mobile Center’s stage as part of the Up Close and Personal Tour will be Soulja Boy, Sean Kingston and LIL Mama.
Reserved tickets for the show are available for $39.75, $55.75, $75.75 and $99.75 on Dec. 8. All ticket prices are subject to additional fees and service charges. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster locations, www.ticketmaster.com, or by phone at 816.931.3330.
Brown is following up his eponymous multi-platinum debut with his eagerly awaited sophomore effort, Exclusive as the current single, "Kiss, Kiss" featuring T-Pain, rapidly climbs the charts. "Kiss, Kiss" ranks #2 on Billboard’s Hot Ringmasters, #9 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop 100 Airplay, #9 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #14 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Airplay.
"I feel it’s an album especially for my fans," explains Brown about the meaning of the album title. "I made this album ’exclusively’ for them." In addition to collaborating with fellow platinum-selling producer and label-mate T-Pain, Chris recruited top-notch super producers on Exclusive including Kanye West, will.i.am, Sean Garrett, the Underdogs and Bryan-Michael Cox. In addition to displaying his own growth and development as an artist, Chris contributes as a co-writer on several tracks on Exclusive.
The now 18-year old Tappahannock, Virginia native signed to Jive Records when he was just 16. Two years ago, Brown gained critical acclaim and recognition for his self-titled Grammy nominated debut, Chris Brown. His first album spawned several hits including "Run It," "Yo (Excuse Me Miss)" and "Gimme That," "Say Goodbye" and "Poppin’" earning him worldwide sales in excess of three million units and garnering him sellout crowds on his concert tour that followed the release of this smash album.
In addition to his music career, the multi-talented artist established himself as a promising actor with his first feature film, Stomp The Yard, which also showcased his agility as a dancer. He’s made high-profile television appearances on The O.C. and One On One and performed on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Grammys Ceremony, The Today Show and Good Morning America concerts and more.
