Kansas City, Mo. (April 17, 2014)—In honor of Earth Day on Tuesday, April 22, T-Mobile Center will serve as a drop off location for guests desiring to recycle electronics. T-Mobile Center’s Earth Day Electronics Recycling Event will be held between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Barnes Plaza located in front of the box office on Grand Boulevard. Volunteers will be on site to assist and provide guests with a tax deductible card for their donation. 

Residents may recycle a variety of items including cables, cable boxes, cellular phones, computers, monitors, DVD players, printers, stereos, televisions, VCRs, fans, cameras, hair dryers, clocks and curling irons. A complete list of items eligible to be recycled may be found by visiting www.t-mobilecenter.com/earthday.  Electronics recycling services are provided by E-Steward Certified Vintage Tech Recyclers.  Any monetary donations to support Keep Kansas City Beautiful will also be accepted at the event.

Each guest making an Earth Day donation or recycling item(s) during the Earth Day event on April 22 will have the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to future T-Mobile Center events including an upcoming NHL preseason contest on Sept. 27 between Stanley Cup playoff teams Dallas Stars and St. Louis Blues.
