KANSAS CITY, Mo. (MAY 8, 2023) – One of the most popular artists on the Música Mexicana scene in recent years, Carin León makes his first visit to T-Mobile Center on Sept. 22 as part of his 27-date Colmillo De Leche Tour beginning this summer. Carin León’s unique mix of traditional and contemporary Mexican sounds has taken the genre from regional to worldwide as he demonstrated with his most recent single “Primera Cita,” which is part of his long-awaited new album entitled “Colmillo de Leche.” 

León has seen massive success thanks to “La Boda Del Huitlacoche,” which has garnered more than 125 million streams on Spotify, where he boasts 19 million monthly listeners. He’s also collaborated with Grupo Firme on “El Tóxico” and Grupo Frontera on “Que Vuelvas.” The singer is set to include his newest single “Primera Cita,” which features a poppier production than some of his previous, banda-backed tracks, on the new LP. 

“From the first moment I heard it, I connected with the lyrics and the fresh, authentic language,” León said at the time. “We gave ourselves the freedom to explore and fuse Mexican folk with pop and country bases, resulting in a song that I am sure will connect with fans and offer a preview of what I’m preparing for my next album.”
