Aerosmith announced plans for their 2009 Tour including a scheduled stop at T-Mobile Center on Sept. 1. Aerosmith’s tour, the group’s first since 2007, starts in June and they will be joined by ZZ Top.

Aerosmith has sold 150 million albums worldwide and hold the record for the most gold and multi-platinum albums by an American group. The band has scored 21 Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, nine #1 Mainstream Rock hits, four Grammy Awards, and ten MTV Video Music Awards. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, and in 2005 they were ranked #57 in Rolling Stone magazine’s 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

Tickets go on sale, Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster Outlets or charge by phone at (800) 745-3000. Tickets will be available at T-Mobile Center Box Office starting Monday, April 20.
